Meet the physios

Two physios. Twenty-plus years on maternity wards.

This is a physio practice that teaches pilates, not a fitness studio that books physios. Briony founded the practice. Sarah joined to share the caseload. They both treat clinically and teach every class.

B.Physio (Hons) UQ 1997. Certified pilates instructor since 2003. Ten years at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, fourteen at North West Private maternity, now part of the Ramsay Health Plus team.

Fifteen years of classical dance and an Advanced RAD background shape how she teaches movement. She founded Hills Women's Collective in 2019.

B.Physio (Hons) UQ 2002. Preglates-certified pilates instructor. Trained in dry needling levels one through three. Previously at Mater Mothers' Hospital before joining Be In Blossom in 2020.

Sarah leads the postnatal stream and runs many of the pelvic-floor private consults. Quiet, methodical, very good with anxious first-time mums.

Pregnancy pilates

Trimester-aware matwork, ball work, and conditioning. Built to keep you strong, mobile, and breathing well through every stage of pregnancy, with real modifications as your body changes.

Pregnancy cardio

Low-impact cardio sessions designed by physios. Heart rate up, joints protected, pelvic floor supported. A safer alternative to dropping training when you are pregnant.

The six-week check

A private postnatal assessment before you return to group classes. Pelvic floor, abdominal separation, scar tissue, breathing pattern. We tell you what's ready and what isn't.

Postnatal return to movement

A four-week intro course then ongoing postnatal pilates and conditioning. Babies welcome in the matwork rooms. Cardio sessions for when you are ready to push a little harder.

Pelvic floor rehab

One-on-one consults for prolapse, incontinence, post-op recovery, or anything that doesn't feel right. Honest assessment, evidence-based plan, no judgement.
